“My people are destroyed because they have no knowledge” – Hosea 4:6. In Episode 10 of Young Africa TODAY, South African author, businesswoman and social entrepreneur Reinhild Niebuhr presents the fact that too many people across Africa do not have enough knowledge to build purposeful and productive lives. This results in one more form of Slavery which lies at the root of human poverty: the Slavery of Ignorance. By not having good knowledge, we human beings do many things that damage us and prevent us from fulfilling our potential. This is why Reinhild has been working to develop a “Leadership And Entrepreneurship Programme” (LEAP), which is aimed at helping anyone who wishes to have access to better knowledge and learn the necessary skills to make money, live a healthy life, build good relationships and understand that TRUST IN GOD is the most important thing in life.
PS: Kindly note that I made a mistake in introducing today’s topic – I meant to say: My people are destroyed because of LACK OF KNOWLEDGE”.
