When God made us human beings he created a special gift for each one of us: our own personal “home entertainment centre”, our sexuality. As with everything else in life, the devil and his minions work HARD to destroy every good thing that God has created and he will use our own sexuality to get on a path to self-destruction. Kindly note that, when I was looking for helpful resources for you, I found quite a few people who were writing that sex before marriage is not sin. Please ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you read the Bible verses in the link above, to make sure you understand every biblical teaching according to God’s Will. The devil will use many immature Christians to misguide you and to continue the lies he has spread among people who don’t believe in Jesus Christ, to confuse you. Don’t be confused. Simply make a choice to turn your back on sex outside of marriage and focus your life on Jesus Christ.

So, in closing: it doesn’t really matter whether you are single or married, if you place your sexuality at the centre of your life, you are replacing Jesus Christ from the centre of your life, and this will cause you to feel pain. We humans have been created with an UNMET NEED FOR LOVE that ONLY our relationship to God, through Jesus Christ, can fill. Life can be BEAUTIFUL without ever needing to engage in sex or having your own children. Filling your life with loving God, through Jesus Christ, loving other people and finding ways to better help and serve others is an alternative way of living that doesn’t need you to centre your attention on sex.
